Friends, I am playing with my new recording device, which is quite remarkable. But I am having a problem renaming the auto generated file name. I can get to the Rename function and change the characters without issue. The problem is extending the new file name beyond the 7 spaces that the given file name occupies. I am assuming that you can create a name beyond that because the manual, at p110, states, "when the name of the file has more than 12 characters a triangle mark appears" advising that the characters are shown off screen. Can anyone advise how to create a name that exceeds the default 7 space.
