Great piece! I love SCGC guitars - own way too many of them, but cannot pass up a great deal when I find one. And Richard is one of the most sharing and thoughtful people you could ever hope to meet - the fact that he builds incredible guitars is just three extra layers of icing and huge scoop of ice cream on top -
But you left out a couple of very important models - the regular model F, which is not just a finger-style instrument, but a really wonderful all around guitar that can rival many OMs, and the FTC, which is one of the most unique guitars they’ve made, with its carved back projecting the sound creating a unique combination of arched back with a flat top. And you have to mention the 00-Skye, which is one of the finest and most articulate guitars anywhere, a true guitar players instrument, as listening to any of Eric Skye’s amazing YouTube performances will reinforce -
