I am using D'Addario Pro-Arte normal tension, and I love the sound of the three wound strings. However, I find the unwound strings rather quiet.
Any recommendations, please?
Thank you in anticipation.
You could try a set of fluorocarbon treble strings, maybe Knobloch Actives CX, to start; they will be brighter and louder, though the tone is a personal thing.
Or one of the Aquila Nylgut sets, like Alchemias.
