Default Using Play Acoustic with different systems/guitars

What I learned was:

1) This pedal is instrument specific, if I plug in another guitar from the stable I have to mess with the eq and it's a PITA. It doesn't save guitar presets.

2) This pedal is system specific. If I switch it from amp to mixer to powered speaker I have to eq the pedal and system. It would be a nightmare if I was to take it to an open mic and try to plug into the host system.

This pedal is nice if you are using one guitar and plugging into one system.
I am very interested in hearing other responses to this post. My concern is more with )2 than 1. Have other forum members used this pedal successfully in open mic settings? Have results been good, bad, or in between? I have one but haven’t used it much. When I bought it I was looking forward to using it in open mic settings, but I’ve read what this poster said more than once. If there are forum members who are using it successfully in these settings, what are your tips for doing so?
