Need is such a relative term. If I were making my living as a guitarist/musician I would feel comfortable saying that I needed x number of guitars but that isn't the case for me. If we are speaking about my mental health then I would have to say that I need at least one. Speaking as a serious hobbyist, I need at least three. I currently own five with another one on the way and two set to be sold.
