I preferred the 1st one. It was much bigger sounding.
The biggest issue I heard was a bit of flub in the mids...around 750-800Hz. But that's pretty typical for an acoustic guitar. I scooped bit out (I think I landed at 772Hz) and a little high pass cleaned up the mush from the room.
Very nice over-all and I think you're on the right track. Keep at it.
