I let a coworker with Freddy Krueger nails play my Shorty once, only to bring it home and find nasty marks on my guitar (no pickguard). Love the guy but I was pretty miffed really, and I KNOW it wasn't me because I have great control over my picking hand. I bought this and it worked
fantastic. Yes, some of the scratches were really deep but it
got them out too with some extra elbow grease. After I was done I put on a clear pickguard so it wouldn't happen again.
Works as advertised, no silicone, and works on all finishes. I'll never use or recommend anything else
