The picture shows the difference. While 2x+ heavier, and more substantial, it is more comfortable than the Planet Waves one.

Your photo shows the
Dunlop Pivot capo (bottom). The main point of the design is the bottom pivoting section which is designed to equalize the pull opposing the top bar so it clamps with a more consistant and even pressure across the strings.
