We talked and laughed about old times as we began the disassembly of this little hot rod. Oh, good times.

Tuning machines, brass saddles, shielding tape in the pickup cavities today. Started sizing up the replacement pick guard. That may be a little tricky. You see, it’s a fender pearloid guard, but this is not a fender guitar. A little finessing will be in order. We’ll see tomorrow.

The more I teach him and show him now, the more he will teach his son or daughter long after I’m gone. Some more tweaks tomorrow.
