My first post here, so forgive me if this has been said before.
I use a Bose L1 Model II with the ToneMatch gizmo. It's the best combo I've ever used for acoustic guitar/vocals live stuff. But, it's expensive (around 3k if I'm not mistaken...).
Incredibly portable, and the ToneMatch has replaced the rack I used to take with me (never trust a sound guy to reproduce your acoustic "sound", although there are some great ones out there).
Anyway, just thought I'd had my experience with small P.A.'s...
