Recently bought a nice guitar (almost new but used and valuable) from a 'large chain store' only to find bridge needs work - its lifting slightly.
Should I trust that the guitar will be good after this 'large chain' does such work?
Should I expect short cuts or high integrity work?
They are apparently authorized by the guitar manufacturer in question.
I would take it to the local pro luthier. The guy who all local pros use. It takes a bit to figure out but, in the long run, is well worth the effort. The guy I use locally, people ship repairs to him. Just say no to a chain store.
