Nemoman...the binding/purfling scheme is the same dimensionally as my other builds. Its really not wider at all...its an optical illusion created by the visual weight of the heaviness of the black Ebony. My bindings are 5/64x1/4 and my purflings are 1/16 .....plus the .020 dyed veneer lines.
