Arpeggios with unplayed strings in the middle
I have a few of these in a couple of songs, right now I'm working on Al Petteway's "River" again. How would you play 0U02 where the U is the A string, not muted with an X, but unplayed and the notation indicates it (and the mp3) as being a strum/arpeggio of the other 3 strings.
Muting the A string with a finger isn't working right away but just might take time, but I hear that slight "thump". Immediate gratification is coming from hitting the low E and using the index on the right hand to up stroke the d and g string. How would you do it?
