+1...I'm a Tak guy as most folks know and also like Martins. I had already bought a D18 before the Tak 340TT came out or else I would have gotten the Tak. The Tak is louder and projects more, plus it has a killer TLD-2 Line driver pick preamp combined with the Palathetic pickup. They are built with excellent fit n finish, dovetail joint, and such a great price! ...I'm happy with the D18, it has sentimental value and I have my Taks too, but GHS, I know that 340 must rumble your chest!
** I think the fact that these 340's and 360's are not as readily available to play in stores may contribute to why more folks don't buy them, plus some folks have headstock syndrome LOL
