Default Haze in Finish

Purchased Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Standard used, listed in mint condition from brick and mortar store. It structually appears great and sounds the same. It is a vintage sunburst finish and has a line of haze about a half of inch by six inches alone the base string side of the lower bout area. It is difficult to see at first glance but in the right light it shows up. Neither Martin's polish, Dr Duck's Axe Wax, nor naptha remove it. Is this uncommon? I ask because the store had two used ones, the other was a cut-away with haze roughly in the same area but less of it. The one I chose sounded much better (both had new strings, both were 2010s). Is there an easy way to remove the haze? I also wonder if this would even be seeable on a natural finish model.
