Fulltone OCD. If I could only have one pedal and a clean amp, I would be fine with an OCD. It cleans up with the volume knob. It works in front of any clean amp. It sounds great stacked with other pedals.
Every electric guitar player should own one. I know Fulltone became persona non grata for some comments he made, then chose to close up shop recently.
Independent of all that, the OCD gets my vote for the most useful overdrive ever.
