My brother and I were down on Cape Cod doing some work on the family cottage. The nice neighbor across the street gave us some extra eclipse glasses she had, so we took a 90-minute break and went down to the beach to watch. Very cool experience. There were about 70 people there, and it was quite a festive crowd of friendly folks. We had 93% totality, so it didn’t go dark completely, but it did get pretty dim and the temperature dropped about 5 degrees. Very glad we went.
