Not sure if its had much publicity in the US - quite a lot of media coverage here in the UK.
Knopfler has re recorded "Going Home" -the theme from Local Hero, with the help of 50 plus guitarists, in aid of Teenage Cancer Trusts in UK/USA.
The single was released yesterday & lasts 9 minutes - a real stellar list of guitarists, and Jeff Beck's contribution was the last piece of music he ever recorded.
