It's a Wechter Sheerhorn - I bought it second hand years ago. I hadn't picked it up for about 5 years until that gig before Christmas came along. It was a scratch band gig at our local event bar. We had 3 rehearsals as a band, played for 2 hours, and were all amazed at how well it went on the night!

I wasn't plugged in. We just set-up a single stage mic' to cover 3 of us singing and playing. I played guitar, dobro, banjo and blues harp (none plugged in) and sang. Nick played his Gibson L-00 and mandolin (neither plugged in) and sang. Ella did backing vocals. Then we had Giles on lead guitar, Rowan on bass guitar and Chris on drums.

The balance worked out fine for the night just using an lcd stage mic' for the 3 of us (Rode NT1a).

Here's another song from the gig.

I've played and studied traditional noter/drone mountain dulcimer for many years. And I used to play dobro in a bluegrass band.
