I remember "Cherish" very well! And "Windy," too! I got to see The Association live at Purdue when I was a student. They were super good!
I don't have a clear memory of how I heard "So You Want To Be a Rock and Roll Star" because I was in my first year of college at that time, probably like you. I didn't have money in those days for buying albums, but I
was exposed to a lot of music in our dormitory. I had a good friend who was in a rock band and I remember going back home and hearing his band play this song. I thought that was so cool that they could do a Byrds song like that. I never imagined that I would be able to perform a song like this. Who could see where technology would take us?
