just another twist on the minor blues 'thang'....(I'm recalling this one from a blues-jam-a-long book/cd I had long ago....its name is escaping me now....has a kind of corny romance-novel-looking cover...it is a very good book, no real instruction, but good and varied blues progressions to jam with, very good examples of soloing...and good examples of rhythm playing with little partial chords...)
experiment with here and there anticipating (playing some of the chords either a half-beat or whole beat earlier than written)...adds 'hop' but makes things look unnecessarily (sp?) messy when written...
Gmin7/// - Gmin7/// - Gmin7/// - Gmin7/ Db13/
Cmin7/// - Eb13/// - Gmin7/// - Gmin7///
Am7b5/// - D7b9///- Gmin7/// - D7#5#9///
instead of the Am7b5 to D7b9,
maybe stick in Eb7/// to D7///
michaelmag...I see what you wrote....
do you know it's just a teensy-weensy bit of an open-ended question?
con't...
