Hey this is a totally random question, but have you or anyone else reading this thread ever used something completely unconventional for a rosette or other inlay? I'm considering nutmeg. But would I have trouble working with something like this, as far as oil in the nut?


I was going to make some Damascus steel to use, but I think it would add more weight than I want it to.
