1995 Larrivee Brazilian L-10

Bought here on AGF 2 years ago. Lovely top of the line Larrivee, neck not beefy enough for me given my growing affinity for the Martin Authentic Series.

Condition remains as I’d purchased it. From the prior seller:

“Selling my Larrivee 1995 L-10 Brazilian, SN 16445. Owned for over 5 years.
Had 7 frets replaced by previous owner in 2016. Nothing more than the merest of dents, it is in really good condition. I had a pure mini installed, already had heel strap pin installed in the correct place. Updated setup in Dec 2017 included fret dressing, barely visible wear since then. Bridge reglued in Sept 2018. Bridge height at middle is a hair over 5/16th, exposed saddle just inboard of high E is .09. Straightedge test barely hits front of bridge.
Case is archtop hardshell, in good shape, not banged up.
Sounds like a BZ. Original Schaller tuners. Action for low E 12th fret about .070. Strings are 11-52 PB. Plays great. Needs nothing. Guitar is stable.

Video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdthsB7rAjw not that great but you can still hear how good the guitar is.”

$SOLD PPFF shipped CONUS (I paid $XXXX). Plenty of references. Send me your email address / phone number.

I think it's more the strange brand proclivities and biases of the AGF more than the economy.

Specs…

My constant quest…. How can anyone know if they want anything if they don’t have the specs from the instrument in question???

Scale, nut, saddle, and neck feel, at least.

I admit I am particularly picky but still….

If I am not liable to be comfortable playing it, it is not a good investment for me.

No matter HOW beautiful, and this one sure is!!!

Next…

Cheers

Kindly, because:

A) Most of the specs are standard to the model 99% of the time, and
B) AGF members like us are the 0.1% who have *handicaps* that impair us from playing guitars that have measurements .5mm off our "preferred" specs.

Think about it. It rarely matters. And if it really does, then you are among the exceedingly rare few that need to personally inquire. The masses are not lining up to hear the "full specs," shocking as that might sound to most of us.

Just food for thought after selling over 200 high end guitars. :)

Just me then….

I have sold over a hundred, I think. And listed all that stuff and more on every one.

Perhaps I should relax and let everyone flounder about without my “help”. So here is my resolution to just PM a seller if I might be interested and let you all do what you wish.

Carry on and do have FUN

I like to know specs. And string-string spacing at nut, bridge, etc. And soundboard clearance. And 12th fret action and saddle height. That stuff - in addition to the typical.

As usual, ymmv.

Yup I like to know neck spec's on a guitar before purchasing it as well... it is very important to me and I've been playing, trading, selling, and repairing for some 40 years :)

Specs

1 3/4” nut
25.5” scale length
2 3/16” string spacing
C shaped neck

The Larrivee neck profile is consistent with other contemporary boutique shop guitars I've owned.

I'll offer a 72-hour approval window for any reason. If you elect to send it back, we will *split* the two-way shipping costs (so you cover one leg). I think it far more likely you'll keep it, or sell it for $1K more on reverb, et al.

I'm the guy who sold the guitar to Jeff.
When I listed this guitar two years ago, it sold instantly.

Wait, are you saying a post like: "Guitar, some kind of wood(s), 6 strings"
isn't enough info for you???

What a stickler!
