Nice Fred. Love all the bevels too. Bet she is comfy to play!

Beautiful guitar. Have to admit, my brain has a hard time with the offset bridge and fan frets. Apparently my old brain is stuck in its ways. Lol. Having said that, I would love to play one and feel the difference.

I've seen so many pictures of multi-scale guitars now, my brain doesn't even register it as odd. What is odd is that I have still encountered so few of them in real life. I've played a grand total of one in shops - a Kinnaird baritone - and it felt and played perfectly fine.

That's a lovely guitar, Fred. Are you going to keep this for yourself this time?

Is the parallel fret the 6th ? 7th ?

Very nice fan fret guitar. Must sound quite well in open tunings ! 1 inch difference it not too wide of a fan fret guitar to play ? Still transparent ?

May I know what's the goal in selecting those value 25/26 ? targetting specific low tunings ?

Thanks

Parallel fret is 8th

1" difference is very comfortable to play and I have not had anyone try these at show that had any difficulty with it.

The scale length decision was based on DADGAD tuning though wuth medium strings is comfortable down to C on the bass.

Here is a video of the new fan fret from the Quebec city guitar show last November played by Samael Pelletier, the guitar has only been strung up one week. You will need to increase your volume as the audio feed provided with the video by the event organizers was very low.

You can check out the videos of more of my builds on my Fred Tellier youtube channel
