After a week without power and water in our hometown, we’re getting back into the swing of things.

I am so glad you are back with power and water. A few more days and you would have to call Mark Hatcher and ask to borrow some of those hand tools he is getting into! On a practical manner, what takes you from picture A to finished picture B...I know ebony dust is used to fill in, but do you fill the space with glue and then add the dust or mix the dust and glue first? |
Tom, we put a little glue in first really just to set the inlay - not really to fill the slot. Then we fill the excess with black filler. Ebony dust or burned matchsticks set with glue on an ebony fretboard blend well.

Whaaat
Going over to the dark side you are.
It is pretty. It does have one acoustic opening. You guys are skating close to the edge. |
Tele!!!
Humbuckers going in that beautiful Tele? What is the wood on that? Sure is beautiful...
That inlay is spectacular! Glad ya'll got through the snow-mageddon OK. Salud and stay warm Paul |

And yes, from 3 below zero last week to 75 degrees today, we are staying warm, if a bit thermostatically confused. Steve |
