And thank you Tom, much appreciated. Yes, interest in 12-strings seems to come in cycles. We had the 12-string (that Vance bought) hanging around our shop for a while. I really love their sound, so when that other one sold, we got started making this replacement. And actually fairly close in specs to the one Vance got. Mahogany works beautifully for 12’s and we had this set of curly African mahog begging for action. So then we says, “Let’s take it to B.I.G.(er) this year.”
Maybe someone else is looking for some jangle!

It looks very much like the one I bought. Perhaps a little more yellow tint on the top, but color balance is variable in digital pictures.
The 12 string I bought from you with the same specs is, as you know, spectacular sounding. I am not usually a fan of 12 string acoustics, but this guitar is like another thing altogether. And it plays like a dream. If this one is comparable (and I'll bet it is), it will be a big hit at B.I.G.(er). |
