A Precious Place (D. Shaw, arr. S. Wake)

My cover of a tune that Stephen Wake played on his "The Celtist" cd, warts and all :)

I didn't do too much eq'ing on this. Just normalized, reverb with a low cut and a stereo width plug-in. Watch your volume on headphones.

A Precious Place

Bravo Barry, it's a piece that I play too and that I like a lot.
What is interesting is that we all have a different approach in the interpretation and it is very alive as well ....

Thanks Remy. It's an interesting piece. There is a lot of room for interpretation.

Very nicely done. Clean and crisp yet full sounding guitar.
What are you using here?

Thanks Vance! The guitar is an Avalon L2-320C in DADGAD, capo 2, with Pierre Bensusan DADGAD strings (just a day old). My recording setup was two AT2035 mics into a Zoom H5.
