Squirt some juice on that and take a pic. |
Wow! A really special piece of Walnut.

There is a thread in the general section of why we don't see more Walnut guitars, my answer is because no one has seen this piece before!!!!

Thanks for all the love on the Walnut. It’s going to be a surprise birthday present ordered by a friend of ours’ wife. Got to deliver in July. And if you’re wondering, I’m sorry, but it’s not your birthday present. But good news, nor is it our best set of Walnut.

If that's not your best set of Walnut it seems another drive down to East Texas is in order to look through that wood stash again. Hmmm perhaps a Walnut 00 this summer??? Wow, that set is amazing.

Too late...My 2018 Stephen Kinnaird used the best set of walnut!! ;-)

Oh yeah, then there's that set somewhere...
I'm sure it's still here, Bob... :D Steve |
February 6: Old friends
Sometimes we get a visit from our older guitars. It’s always a fun time to visit with them. This one is a Sitka/Koa SJ built for a descendant of Buffalo Bill Cody. He wanted the man himself on the peghead and Koa back and sides because that was his wife’s middle name. He grew out his mustache and beard and looked the spitting image of his great-grandsomething. https://s19.postimg.org/thi8ovrlf/9_...6985_C71_F.jpg https://s19.postimg.org/wble2c1hf/06..._AE74_CB21.jpg And just showing off another shop visitor. https://s19.postimg.org/qnf3bfhpf/06...894_BE8233.jpg |
Wow, both are stunning!
