Beautiful 11 inches nickel plated brass double spunover cherry wood rim from late 1880.
Vintage hardware including 30 Original Vega water drop bracket shoes in like new condition,
New one piece black cherry wood neck with ebony fingerboard and headstock veneer.
Adjustable 2 way truss rod.
The neck is 1 9/16 wide at the nut and 2 1/16 at the heel. Mother of pearl inlays.
Gotoh tuners.

Very nice. I'm not a banjo player but I've got an open back coming soon for my birthday. Not a fretless but I'd love to have one. I saw Rhiannon Giddens play one live once and totally fell in love with the sound and frets/no frets doesn't bother me that much. I've always loved fretless basses too. Its a thing I guess.
