One guitar to trade them all for (or a pearl of great worth)

With all the problems going on I feel a little guilty for showing off new guitars, but this is my last ngd (arthritis).
My guitar playing days will join the "all things must pass" throng and I'll have to play piano exclusively.
So I'm trading and selling guitars to get to just 1 eventually. No acoustic.
I drove to the tone shop, traded some guitars, and brought home a 594.
My final guitar is a good one...

That is seriously good looking guitar, beautiful woods all around. If it sounds half as good as it looks (which I'm sure it does), you have winner on your hands!

Drop dead gorgeous. Thanks for posting.

I have a bunch of "this is my last guitar". I also have had 3 "last" motorcycles so far. Enjoy.

Fantastic! I wouldn't call that "good" but "Amazing"!.

Sorry to hear about your arthritis. Hopefully you'll have plenty of good days.

Outstanding guitar, good for you.

Not sure I've seen a neck quite like that... It's like top wraps around to the back of the neck... Lovely

Wow!
I could stare at that figured maple neck and top all day... Is that a Wood Library model?

Congratulations!!

594 is on my short list, but I’ve been leaning towards something with a solid top. But man, this one is spectacular! Wood Library? Private Stock?

darylcrisp 06-13-2021 12:22 PM

mind boggling beautiful. i love my CE24 and i've been looking around at everything PRS offers. I am leaning towards the same model, or DGT, or semi hollow of something along the same line.

tell us about yours, same questions others asked about which title it carries from PRS(wood library, etc).

thx

Thanks! No, it is described as a Quilt Maple 10-Top with a Vintage Natural finish.
Tone Shop custom ordered the flame neck. Expensive wood that looks good.

Thanks everybody! Solid top? I don't think PRS uses layered wood tops. I know they put a veneer on SE models.
But I would consider those a solid top as well.

I'm not sure what everyone means by "solid" or "layered" top, but PRS makes lots of guitars that are mahogany bodies with a maple cap, including yours.

Wow, that is one fabulous looking guitar!
