Update from KOZM Guitars
 

I've been working on a couple of super-ergonomic guitars for a client.

I'm actually making two different versions - mainly to examine the effect of sound-hole geometery on acoustics. This is the "K1".

Very cool, and looks like a lot of hard work, congrats.

That looks like it would be so easy to sit and play! Hope you'll update when done, and maybe post some sound clips.

By the way, I am really liking the red AW6-3 on your site!! Looks like it would very comfortable to play. Beautiful designs!!

It's like an Adrian Legg style guitar. The closed leg position would kind of weird, but, I could imagine plenty of folks with different physical circumstances that would benefit from that body style.

Very cool designs--especially like the K3 design. Looking forward to seeing them finished and your impressions of the differences. Just curious--did you use SketchUp to create the drawings and 3D models?

I'm using Solidworks for the CAD.
VisualCAM for the tool paths.
Elbow grease for the sanding. ;)

Amazing designs! I'm already picturing an all-maple K1 :D

I'm seriously liking the electrics...the red AW6 is calling, but then again adding a Mutated Tele would be awesome...

How about a BackBender with split coils and a Piezo? That would be fun!
