Very cool! The sax player has good tone and groove, especially for a youngster :)

That was great!
I'd be very proud if I were you.

Wow, this is awesome! Making music with your kids is such a wonderful wonderful experience. Your kids are quite talented! How long have they been playing?? My youngest (11) plays clarinet and I hope he sticks with it long enough to get into jazz band in HS. Man I enjoyed that!

Sax has tone! And nice nuance from the electric.

Great dad you are... sharing music... life gift.

It all sounded fantastic.

Thanks. Kids have been playing for a while. My younger son started the sax about 3 years ago at school band. He also takes piano lessons. The older one has taken lessons at a music school since he was 7. They both are in the school jazz band with my older son moving from trumpet to guitar this year.

We believe having a musical education with their academic education is a big plus. Good luck with your clarinet player. I’m convinced the dedication needed to practice and improve on a musical instrument is a very solid life lesson for kids to experience especially at this stage of their development.

I agree! We are very fortunate to have a school system that supports the arts just as much as academics and sports. We have one kid in band, another in orchestra, and another in chorus and the after school rock band program.
