Taylor 562ce 12-Fret 12-String: * SOLD *
3 Attachment(s)
I have a family member moving in to my small home and I am in the process of creating space. Unfortunately, a few of my guitars that I don't play much are going to be displaced. One of these is the Taylor 562ce 12-fret, 12-string guitar. This was my first 12-string guitar, and it absolutely blew me away (please see my NGD post about it here: https://www.acousticguitarforum.com/...d.php?t=518640).
In need of space, I have to decide which guitars I can live without. The reason this one is on the chopping block is because, once I got the 12-string bug, I invested in a Gibson SJ-200 12-string guitar. I do not need two 12-strings, and the SJ-200 12-string is just too unique to let go. The Taylor 562ce is an all-mahogany, exceptionally easy-to-play 12-string grand concert-sized guitar debuted at NAMM in 2016. This particular guitar is in excellent/mint condition and has been kept in its case and tuned down half a step whenever it wasn't being played. Once I got my second 12-string I have played this one only 3-4 times in the last year since I put new strings on it. This guitar has sold! |
No affiliation with the seller, but this is a great 12 string. I have one and am surprised at its great projection and tone. I previously had a Taylor 555 that could project into the next county, but the Taylor 562 is surprisingly close, and a heck of a lot more comfortable to play.
Good price, excellent 12-string guitar! :guitar: |

If you are considering a 12-string guitar, I would encourage you to check out the video below by Tony Polecastro, who displays the type of sound you can expect out of this Taylor 562ce:
Thank you, and please let me know if you have any questions. |
There has been a lot of talk about 12-string guitars on the forum lately. See what Marty Schwartz has to say about the Taylor 562ce:

Just got back into town and wanted to bump this up for anybody interested in an extremely comfortable and easy-to-play 12-string.
|
Bumping this up as it sits in a case waiting for a new owner who wants to comfortably belt out "Wish You Were Here."
|
Going to dust this listing off, as I have been traveling extensively and am now back to finding this a good home.
|
I pulled this out over the weekend, as it's been sitting in its case waiting for a new owner. Goodness, what a wonderful tone. I would happily keep it but it warrants more use than I'll be able to give it. Hoping somebody is ready to take the 12-string plunge.

I have listed this guitar on Craigslist with the hope of selling it before the holidays. Reasonable offers accepted here!
|
Price reduced to $1850.00 plus shipping. Will be able to ship up until next Friday, 12/20. Then not available until after the new year.
|
Man, this is truly Christmas come early for someone!

Now I sort of hate my $500 Guild F2512. Deep sigh.
|
I just played one of these at a nearby Sam Ash - it's an absolutely superb 12-string!
