http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/i...uitar/5568.jpg The full build album is available in the photobucket link in my signature - about 500 pictures. It includes the re-topping process I had to do when I screwed the top up trying to repair a purfling line that chipped out when I was scraping it level. This guitar sounds good off the bench. Nice complex trebles, big bass, solid mids, and pretty even temperament up and down the fretboard. Thanks for checking in and taking a look. |
Looks great! :)

Absolutely beautiful, I love the headstock and the rosette especially.

Super job, Waddy.
Your attention to detail and it's execution are great. Love to get to that stage one day. Love the rosette, headstock, the binding/purfling especially at the end wedge, and the heel cap. Well done. Bob |
Very nice looking guitar. Congratulations. I really like the look of that top.

Thank you all, for your kind comments!

Waddy, that's a great looking guitar! Please keep sharing photos of your new builds. Well done, sir!

Thanks, Danny!

Lovely Waddy!
As far apart as we are in building styles, I really appreciate your work! |
You are a kind man, sir! Your skill set is amazing, and your instruments are to die for, so I really appreciate your comment.

Hey Waddy,
This one of the most beautiful classical guitars I've ever seen! Keep up the good work! Michael |
I had the pleasure of seeing and playing a couple of Waddy's guitars last year. They were excellent, and it looks like this one it too. Keep up the good work.
|
Thanks, Michael!
Hi, Woody, thanks! |
Got my friend Johnnie to record a couple of clips of #5, on Wednesday. The first, Wilde Mountain Thyme, Arr: Scott Tennant shows off the bass side of the guitar pretty well, the second Barrios', La Catedral (First Movement) shows off the treble side nicely.
Thanks for listening. |
