Thanks everyone. You know we love cool wood!

John, it’s the Santo Domingo Mahogany from Mr. Coleman. I guess maybe the monitor gives is a purple cast, but it’s actually a rich orange brown. Matches the orange streaks in the walnut pretty well.

Looks great. Initials?

Yes. Christie Cook is a local singer/songwriter who is a fantastic player and singer. She is our one endorsed performer. This (the lightweight Spanish Cedar 00) is her second Kinnaird. If you like Celtic tunes, check out her album Dia Maith.

Her website was recently erased by hackers, but she has some of her other work back up on it too while trying to rebuild it. http://Christiecooksongs.com

Nothing plain about that. Beautiful wood.

I am just amazed at how different Spanish Cedar can be, ie. mine compared to that! Wow.

Tom, in the beauty contest, this set ^ might indeed win the swim suit competition, but your set holds up just as well when the final question gets asked. They are equally eloquent. And unless you play both guitars back outwards, no one will know. You know?
