With Black Friday only weeks away, let's post any great deals we find in this thread so others might also take advantage of the discounts.

Hornet Audio is running a 60% off sale on their plugins. I haven’t used a lot of Hornet plugins so I can’t vouch for how good these are but for someone looking to get into plugins, this sale is a nice way to pick up a few on the VERY cheap.
Note: They’re calling this a Halloween Sale so I don’t know if it will last much longer than through this weekend.

I got my finger on the Liquid Sonics Buy Button waiting for the(Hopefully) Black Friday sale. I googled it and it says they had one last year.

So the big Question I have is:

* Is there a way to automatically get notified via email? Is there some sort of engine we can log into that will notify us of a specific company and their sales?

* I see that Black Friday is November 26th this year. But when does Black Friday sales typically start? I assume it stars a few days before. And how many days after Black Friday will it last?

I've never heard of anything like that. What I do throughout the year is keep a browser folder with links to any plugins I might want to buy, then when Black Friday comes around, I start checking to see which have gone on sale for a price I'm willing to pay.

It really depends on the individual company. I've seen some start days or even weeks before and some that wait until the day. The key is to be patient. No company is ever going to run out of plugins.

As I am very new to plugins..not sure how some of these links work. I did click on Plugin Boutique link and saw they were offering quite a number of discounts. Don't know if it is any better than anyone else?

Plugin Boutique is having a "buy anything and get a free plugin from the list sale." I'm mentioning this in case anyone needs a really good metering plugin. For mastering, I've been using Levels by Mastering the Mix for a couple of years. It's truly an excellent metering plugin. And you can get it free with any plugin purchase ...even if you find something as cheap as a dollar (from what I've read elsewhere). This deal runs until November 15th.

Toontrack is running sales on various products through December giving 30%-45% off. I really love the Toontrack lineup (with the exception of EZMix which I've never tried). I use their drums whenever I need a drum track. I also like their bass and keys software. Really good stuff.

Melda Production plugins are on sale for up to 51% off at Plugin Boutique. I've no personal experience with them but I've heard the name mentioned positively on occasion

Sonnox is having a big sale. The more you buy, the bigger the discount. They make excellent plugins.

Oh crap! Here's the first one that's going to cost me money. I've been debating between the Weiss Dsess and FabFilter Pro DS for most of this year. If I'm going to pull the trigger on the Weiss plugin, I'll have to do it by the end of the day tomorrow. The price being reduced from $199 to $89 might make this an easy decision though.

Softube will be running sales all month. This first round is from Nov. 1-3 and has Weiss plugins at a very reduced rate.
