Pendulum HZ-10SE Preamp - complete system - SOLD
 

Selling my rare 1990's Pendulum HZ-10SE preamp/EQ with even rarer, original US made blending preamp module. I'm the original owner. It consists of 2 components:

- Rack unit: A high quality 4 band parametric EQ in a single rack space. The output is a TRS balanced XLR. It has two effects loops with level control, selectable using a footswitch. These can be set to parallel or series. There is a balanced TRS line level input to use when not using the preamp module, and an XLR input for the preamp module.

- Preamp Module for blending a mini mic and piezo pickup. It's mounted with a belt clip and has a 3.5mm TRS input. It connects to the instrument with a TRS 3.5mm cable and to the rack unit with a custom cable. The piezo input impedance is 10 MOhm. 48v phantom power is provided for the mic. It can be used with a mic. a piezo pickup, or both. This is the rare US made version of the preamp module.

This HZ-10SE model is no longer made. It was the precursor to the Pendulum SPS-1, which goes for $2350 new. That system is stereo with a 3 band parametric EQ for each channel. This HZ-10SE is mono with these 4 bands of parametric EQ:
35 - 400 Hz
180 - 2000 Hz
800 - 8800 Hz
1.5 - 16.0 kHz

No mods have been done on it. The main rack unit is clean. The piezo module and footswitch are a little scuffed up from use. All the cables are included. I gigged with this for a couple of years. It's been in a box since.
