OP, I'm with you on BR.

Another song I'm sick of is "Gimme Three Steps".

Going the opposite way; as a kid I really hated 'Whiter Shade of Pale' by Procol Harem and 'He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother' by The Hollies, just too slow and dreary for me.

Now I think both songs are beautiful.
