I’m good not hearing it again, but I liked it when it first came out.

I always hated that song. From the first time I heard it. Absolutely hated it. Still do. If it ever comes on the radio I can't turn it off fast enough.

Does anyone remember laughter.?

If I never hear "Sweet Home Alabama" again that'll be just fine with me...

In the grand scheme of things this thread comes across as a tad whiny. If that's all you guys have to worry about then God bless ya. ;)

I never was a Queen fan, but I appreciate the work that they had done.

I quickly lost interest in Queen when they introduced their third album . To me , the band began a slow downward spiral with their third album . I have always found Bohemian Rhapsody irritating .

Anyway, I’m tired of Bohemian Rhapsody as well but I’m even more weary of Free Bird with that ponderous slide guitar. The whole song sounds like it is played in slow motion until it gets to the guitar solos which is really all there is worth listening to in that song. |
I hadn't been looking for a Queen song, but came across an interpretation that caught me by surprise. Not quite the usual breathless, aren't-I-wonderful bit.

Well written
Well played Well sung Well produced A truly incredible multigenerational piece of musical work... |
I was tired of it by 1976, it definitely was a trigger for changing the radio station, or slapping in a 8 track.
|
I saw the band perform at my college, 1974. I was Amazed when Freddie picked up a White telecaster and smoked "This Thing Called Love"... He was a first class musician, multi-instrumentalist, composer. Too bad the movie decided to focus on the Social implications of his personal choices.
Without the lame movie, "Wayne's World", this wouldn't even be discussed. If you haven't seen the movie, B.H., go see it and enjoy. Still haven't figured out Brian May's lead in B.H. note for note, though I've tried at least 500 times. |

"'39", "It's Late" "All Dead, All Dead", "Sleeping On The Sidewalk", "Spread Your Wings", "Who Needs You", "Sheer Heart Attack" - "News Of The World" is a great album, and one that has only three songs by Mercury. I also like "The Game" - and under-rated album. Liked Queen a lot, up to The Game. But was never a fan of "Bohemian Rhapsody", "We Will Rock You", or "We Are The Champions". Will always like the songs May, Deacon and Taylor wrote. They never got the credit due - especially Deacon. |
