You've Got a Friend and You've Got a Friend in Me (Covers)

Haven't had the opportunity to record any songs for a while, so I grabbed the chance yesterday and recorded two, with nearly identical titles although musically very different. Any recommendations for a third song that would round out the theme as a mini-set? I'm trying "You're My Best Friend" by Queen, but I'm not sure. Thanks in advance, Dubi

Awesome Dubi! Two great renditions. I like your arrangements a lot. Is that a Martin Jorma you're playing? You made it sound good.

Thanks, Doug! Yes, that is a Jorma that I recently acquired, thanks to my Want to buy posting here on AGF. And as a bonus, I got to meet the seller, a great guitarist and singer.

Great playing, especially on the JT number. And the third song has to be With a Little Help From My Friends :)

Thanks, Bob & Glen, much appreciated. Duh, With a Little Help From My Friends. Great recommendation. I attended a workshop at last year's Woodstock Luthier's Festival where Tim Farrell taught a nice fingerstyle arrangement, I always meant to go back and try to master it, now I will.

Very nice playing ! The third song could be Waiting on a friend (Jagger/Richards)?
