The Imposter

A recent thread in the general discussion area came to mind after I tweaked this tune this morning that I wrote last night.

Its eye opening when its realized how easy it is to fool ourselves into thinking we're something we're not.

Life is what it is.

I think wooden toys and some music is a lot better than some of the messes that people can get themselves into.

Nylon strings, slow arpeggios, and you almost sound like you can play :D

Very nice Barry!

I like the sound of your new nylon string guitar! I'm going to have to get mine out again and rediscover it.

Thanks Glenn. The nylon is interesting. It's a different animal.

C’mon Barry! You’re not fooling anyone! You have such beautiful ideas! Your playing always inspires me! I say if you’re creating music, you’re creating something of beauty that, no matter the size of the audience, is worthwhile. You are adding to the beauty in a world that desperately needs it. I may never have the skills of a Stephen Wake or a Phil Taylor or a Dustin Furrlow, but I hope what little I bring adds something to the world. I know yours does. Keep sharing!

Thank you! My steel string guitars are getting jealous about the time I spend playing the classical.

Awesome very nice sound

Take the time to to develop some initial picking pattern into a complete piece using a combination of things (for example having two or
more sections with different yet compatible thematic content), other variations in patterns, playing notes on different parts of the neck.
Tie it all up into a neat package. There need not be a rush to put things out there prematurely.

Thanks Rick! I'm going to try your suggestions.
