¿ What EQ Pedal Do You Use ?

Just curious what's been/is being used by the members here .

I am waiting for one now .

Should be here by the 8th there about's . It's got 4 programmable EQ user made settings and can cycle
them according to how you want it to scroll through them and it's midi syncable too .

I'll be cycling a combination of acoustic guitars with electric and microphones
  1. Pbass passive
  2. Humbucker or single coils
  3. Dread steel 6 string & 000 nylon 000 spanish classical piezo acoustic electric(s)
  4. Hihz Shure 520 Green Bullet dynamic mic through this

I use a Fishman Platinum Pro.

Empress ParaEQ. Definite learning curve, however, it's the best EQ pedal out there, IMO.

I have been VERY impressed by the simple EQ in my BBE Acoustimax preamp. Though it's just a simple three-band EQ with a sweepable mid control, it is both sensitive and effective for tone control. What a great box the Acoustimax is!

I crazy love my Tech21 Q/Strip:

That's one complete package , I like that . With my T.C.Helicon VL3X I get the stuff that units has . Funny how so
many different paths achieve similar results/objectives .

Super unit the clarity in these units is super quiet . The sound of the guitar floats . It's super shimmery .

Acoustic and electric, not with bass. It works great with acoustics and can take out piezo quack, by dropping the offending frequency.

Empress ParaDI ... nearly fully parametric on three bands, and a boost. Great pedal, not cheap.

Puerto Player 02-07-2018 09:31 AM

Honesty, I'm getting rid of a lot of my pedals and doing everything on my QSC Touchmix 8. Full EQ, effects, pre's, mixes and records too. Just sounds great.

+1 on the Empress ParaEQ - I use it in the channel 1 insert of my Solstice with my K&K mini. It's a very powerful tool - if you don't have a minimum basic understanding of parametric EQ, save yourself some frustration and read the manual :)

Source-Audio Programmable 4-Channel EQ, exactly what you have on order. A great piece of gear, I use three channels for two guitars and a mandolin. 1megohm input impedance - perfect for the K&Ks I have in all my instruments.
