2003 Flammang EL-35 12-Fret **SOLD**

*** SOLD ***

Up for sale is a fantastic modern classic by David Flammang of Greene, Iowa. This is an incredibly comfortable, small-bodied blues box. The sound of this deep body guitar is loud, with good note separation, woody, with a long sustain. Built by one of the country's best single luthiers David Flammang, it is a substantial step above Gibson's L-1 Robert Johnson Limited Editions. This is the perfect guitar for the player seeking a modern take on the great 30s Gibsons.

Here is what David says about the EL-35:

“The EL is just plain fun. A versatile deep bodied, vintage inspired, small body guitar with a quick, yet cavernous voice.”

Condition
This guitar is in very good condition with a few blemishes to note. On the back of the headstock near the low e-string is a sizeable ding. There’s also one on the lower bout, treble side near the binding. I’ve included pictures with callouts for you to look closely. There are also small blemishes and finish swirls throughout. It’s a 18 year old guitar and it’s been played.

Sound Clips
I’ve also included a couple of recordings I made with my iphone. At the end of each clip, I let the guitar ring. The sustain on this guitar is amazing. Please pardon the playing. I’m a struggling guitarist with delusions of adequacy.

The Price
There's nothing like the process of preparing a guitar for sale to make you fall in love with it all over again. Despite that, I’m offering this beautiful Flammang guitar for SOLD net to me.

Your demo clips are really good. Nice playing on a great looking and sounding guitar. I'm covered with a couple of spruce/mahogany smaller bodied guitars, if not I would be really interested in this one. Flammang's EL-35 has always received excellent reviews.

Best of luck with the sale.

Mark,

Thanks for the very kind words. I thought this one might go quickly, and it did. It is sold.

Thanks,
Phil
