Here are my two, a '17 RAM and a '21 Outback Touring XT. The wife has a bright red Prius (ya know, to offset.. LOL)

I have been a Ford guy much of my life. I am currently driving a 2013 Escape with 125,000 miles on it. It is basically the "dogmobile". The dogs love to go with me everywhere they can, so they accompany me to the dog park and on numerous errands. Consequently I have to take the shop vac to it periodically and the interior is somewhat chewed up.

Before that I had a 2002 Escape and prior to that a '90's era Ford Probe.

For my next car I will get my wife's Subaru Outback. That will happen when the dogmobile dies or she finds the hybrid or electric that she really wants and is willing to spend the money on. Right now neither of us feel good about the prices in the auto market, either used or new.

My Honda CR-V is a terrific vehicle, after 60+ years of driving, I’ll happily stick with it.

Daily driver is a 2014 Nissan Murano Platinum (60k miles). Two fun summer cars are a 2003 Toyota Solara SLE Convertible (42k miles) and a 1968 Dodge Polara 500 (80k miles).

A 2022 Honda Civic ex. Nice CVT drivetrain and handles well. Passes really nicely on the highway. But otherwise really boring. I traded in a bright red Honda Civic Si for this one. The Si was vandalized twice outside my apartment building so I wanted boring. Gets about 30 mpg.

Today I literally tried to open someone else's gray Civic to go pick up a pizza (turned out mine was 3 spaces down).

I've been a Honda guy since I was a kid. One of my favorite cars was a Honda Prelude from the early 90's. I did the upscale cars when I was married and working but now that I'm divorced and retired, Honda's are just fine.

2017 F150. I’ve mostly been a Chevy Truck guy but decided to go Ford this time around and I love it. It does everything I need out of a vehicle and I hope it lasts me several more years.

F350 Lariat 6.7 diesel. 2019 with only 30k miles. I'm on an airplane Mon-Thurs 48 weeks out of the year. This will last me the rest of my years.

Another Subaru owner - the Crosstrek was called XV in Australia but from next year will revert to the same Crosstrek name as the US.

Bought ours on the very last day of 2012.

Changed the original car battery earlier this year and the original remote batteries just last week.

I've been routinely a bicyclist, including winter biking in Minnesota. I'm getting on in years, not sure how much longer, but it's been a good summer.

My car is left over from my paid job days when I sometimes needed to carry stuff: a 2004 VW Passat wagon. It's pretty worn and rusty, but it's a great winter car with a sophisticated AWD system and the current prices of replacement cars don't attract me. I used to think I'd replace it, but now I'm not sure if I'll be driving all that much longer.

Tbh the BMW wagons (estates) are ubiquitous across the pond, but very unusual here (and not even available any more). I have the diesel 328; fun to drive *and* hauls stuff.

When I bought it, my quip was "If a man of a certain age buys a BMW, does it count as a mid-life crisis if it's a diesel station wagon?" :)

I do too! 2014 328d x drive wagon! Love it. 40 mpg, all wheel drive for colorado winters. I would buy it again in a minute if they still made it. **** you VW!

2016 4Runner. Awesome vehicle.
One of the last real SUV's with body on frame construction and a properly placed longitudinal power plant. No electric vehicle BS. No CVT. I'm sure I'll get several hundred thousand miles out of it.
I was an auto tech for a long while and the Toyota vehicles are incredibly well built.

Had a lot of cars I really enjoyed and they were a big part of lots of great adventures. Started owning cars while attending college. First was one of the few I bought new. It was a 70 VW Microbus. Bought it at the duty free shop at the airport in Amsterdam. It was so stripped, it only had floorboards in the front and had no paneling anywhere. Had it 12 years. Did three trips back and forth across the US, trips from New York to Florida and back, and a trip from Washington, DC to New Orleans in it. Had a few hundred thousand miles on it but not sure of the exact amount as the odometer only lasted about 8 years. Had numerous old Volvo and Saab Wagons, a little 79 Accord, and a 76 Alfa sedan that was fun. Had an old 59 Ford Fairlane and a 52 Ford Custom (fully restored everyday driver) for a few years. Been driving a CT200 hybrid for about 6 years and bought 21 Lexus UX 250 hybrid this year. The hybrids have been particularly nice cars for me.

The 2 most fun cars and automotive chapters, however, were my 04 Mini Cooper which I had for 12 years. Just my size n so much fun. Totally reliable too. It developed a load of expensive electrical problems and I gave it to a young deserving .... who put it all back together for himself. Most unique and special was the 52 Bentley MK VI I picked up in 71 while visiting my family in London. Cost me $3,000. Could have bought a new Pinto or Vega for the same money at that time. It was beautiful. Very smooth for its time, but to be honest, it drove like a truck in a tuxedo.

My wife drove a 75 Alfa Spider til her fingers wouldn’t let her shift gears. She did Saab Convertibles for a while, and she has had an old Nissan 350Z for about 6-7 years. She loves it and had it detailed today. In our early 70s, still love being on the road.

Actually, Mrs perttime drives it daily and I might go once or twice a week. Has space for two adults, a dog, and a some stuff. Ride is firm with the slightly lower than stock suspension, and it will keep up with traffic.
