April 23: Nothing better than a customer picking up her guitar in person

Yep

I highly recommend it!

That looks like the perfect fit for her, perfect size, look at the shine on that thing and her smile. Job well done fellas.

Thanks Tom. The best part was hearing her play it for 20 minutes or so when she came to take delivery. Seemed (and seems) like a perfect fit.

I was lucky enough to pick up my last build in person and I highly recommend that if logistically possible. But be careful, it's a trap, once you walk through the shop and peruse the amazing collection of wood you will not be able to resist starting the planning for your next build. I have never seen such a beautiful collection assembled in one place! Plus Steve and Ryan are very gracious with their time which makes for a great experience :) Beautiful guitar and another happy customer, well done.

Evidently we need to make our trap a bit more secure.
Weren't you going to come back and do some more perusing? ;)
Thanks for the kind words, Dave.

Steve

Definitely on my calendar this summer! A little 00 seems like it would be a great addition to the stable. If what you posted earlier is the "ugly duckling Koa" then we will certainly be diving into the stash of the "good stuff". I remember the Koa SJ you had a couple years ago which was spectacular, that was some amazing Koa for sure. Hmmm, the wheels are already turning on what to use for the top and trim.

Doh...now you tell me!

Doh...now you tell me...only a dozen guitars too late!

Alas, I am hooked and no amount of counseling, therapy, drugs and self-help books seem to do any good. Alas, just settle in and enjoy the addiction I guess. And the '00' experience!

By the way, when does the model get model status on the website?!

TomB'sox 04-24-2018 04:02 PM

I am trying to recall who owns the very first 00 made in the shop? I know I should know, anyone??????

cigarfan 04-24-2018 04:37 PM

I thought TuckerRE has the maiden 00. Am I wrong?
