I would be hilarious if Andy Mckee showed up on this thread and verbally destroyed all of you :) I'm a big fan of Mckee but I do see Brent's point. If it's anyone besides Andy or Dufour doing it, I can't listen very long.

Actually, I think he would agree with us....to an extent. In my mind, Andy's a great player, and a far cry from many of the "percussionists" that we're making references to :D

For any of that style playing to capture my attention beyond that, players need to employ melody, and harmony and more diverse chord use than most who play this way do...

Some artists who might show you more of the style are Khaki King, Andy McKee and Preston Reed (etc).
