Eric Church....best live acoustic sound I ever heard
 

Saw Eric Church Friday and Saturday night in Philadelphia. First time I saw him as I’ve recently discovered his total catalogue.

Great performer, wonderful with his audience...really puts on a good show.

He played two seemingly identical (what I think were) Gibson Hummingbirds most of the night. A 2016 website said he used had a Fishman Matrix Infinity pick-ups...not sure if that’s still the case.

It was by far the best sounding, most authentic live acoustic guitar I’ve ever heard...and I’ve seen a lot of shows.

Not a Gibson guy—I like that other guitar company’s products-but wow! What a sound!

I’ll bet it has more to do with his music than anything else, and THAT is a good thing.
