2018 Stephen Kinnaird Part 2

This is our roughly pic of the day thread from our shop. I hope you find some shots of guitars and building that you enjoy. Stop in from time to time and follow along.

In honor of Tom B’sox closing the first part, here’s a picture proving I was in San Antonio 10 days ago getting some inspiration at the San Antonio Missions National Park.

Thanks for following!

Don't let him fool you. That's the south end of our shop.

cigarfan 03-29-2018 11:03 AM

I must have stayed in the north end.

Guitars44me 03-29-2018 11:40 AM

Looks familiar!!

This mission looks very much like ones we have visited in Oaxaca City, Mexico! I always get lots of inspiration there. And lots of yummy food And Mescal!

Cheers

Paul

Not particularly an internship. A friend of ours wanted to pay us to help him build his first guitar. So we decided to offer our first Build Your Own Guitar class. Still working out the kinks of it, but we’re having fun. Maybe at some point this will become something more.

cigarfan 03-30-2018 11:24 AM

Cool. Keep us posted.

White Limba?

BrunoBlack 04-03-2018 05:03 PM

We’ve built a “Black” Limba guitar that was a great instrument. Never had “White” Limba in the shop. I believe it’s the same wood with black figure or without. Kind of in the Walnut range of tone if I remember right.

Strike two on Moena.

TuckerRE 04-04-2018 08:21 AM

Then I am going with (silly as it might seem) walnut.

Chedeng88 04-04-2018 09:20 AM

Hmmm...

Mun Ebony?
