How to write good:

First write a g, then an o, then another o, then a d.

:p

Avoid redundancies and repetitions.

Make sure to use you're words correctly.

The passive voice should be avoided.

Regarding #10... One of my favorite writers was the late Avram Davidson, who wrote science fiction and fantasy and also very quirky essays on various aspects of history.
Davidson very often inserted pithy, humorous “asides” into his writing, often with parentheses....
I admit I liked the effect, and frequently employ it.

The grammar police can go fish.

Make sure not to needlessly split infinitives.

Martz911 06-01-2019 10:11 AM

Also make sure you know when to use the contraction "its" and the possessive "it's". ;)

Oh, and take great care in the usage of "unique", "somewhat unique", and "very unique". And then explain it to me in a "most unique" way.

Each pronoun must agree in number with their antecedent.
