Jim Steinke CDs
 

I listen to a lot of acoustic guitar music on Pandora and have heard several songs by Jim Steinke; he's really quite good. The CDs of his I've seen for sale are used ones on Amazon...starting at $48! Does anyone know where they may be available at more reasonable prices? Thanks

+1 on that. he's the only teacher i've met who combines context and background along with technique and style in an organic and easy going manner, that in turn makes lessons productive and enjoyable. not to mention he's a pretty good player too.

Does anyone know if he teaches via Skype?

A fine teacher for fingerpicking guitar, mandolin, and probably some other stringed instruments. He got a brief mention in Jorma Kaukonen's autobiography. I don't think he does Skype lessons.
